Picture
For this project I was tasked with understanding how colour and composition are used and how I can practise and apply this to my own work.

For this task I had to create a colour wheel by using and mixing paints, alongside creating tones for a colour and comparing it to a greyscale.

For this task I had to create grids with squares and apply colour schemes based on both my personality and given topics.
For this task I created abstract images based on given themes.
For this task I had to create book covers in the style of a given artist and using their chosen media.

Overall I learned that colour is extremely important when expressing the mood of a piece. Being able to mix colours and control the tone with practise is essential to grow as an artist. I also learned that experimenting and playing with colour schemes can further our understanding of colours themselves and the overall mood of a piece.
